Android 4.4.3 update now rolling out to Google and Motorola phones
Android 4.4.3 is already out and Nexus 5, Nexus 7 2013 edition, Google Play Edition smartphones have been receiving the updates. In addition to the Play editions, Motorola has announced it will be rolling out updates for Moto X, Moto G and the Moto E.
In the US, Moto G, Moto E and Moto X from T-Mobile will be getting the update soon. Nexus 4, Nexus 7 2012 editon and Nexus 10 will also receive the update. Google Play Edition phones receiving the update include Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One M7 and HTC One M8. While the remaning ones have to wait for the update as it will be rolled out later. We had earlier reported that Google is working on 4.4.3 update and the features that will come with the update.
Android 4.4.3 update fixes bugs and performance improvements. Nexus 5 users have been complaining of battery drain issue while camera is on. The Dialer and People app has been updated that looks better than what was before. For the Moto X, the update will improve the camera’s image quality with better exposure, real flash coloring and better photos in low light condition on the front camera.
The update will bring ability to pause video recording on viewfinder and Moto Alert app for Moto X and Moto G users which sends periodic alerts to contacts selected. Moto E users won’t get any new visual features besides performance improvements. Motorola states that security, stability and framework, enhanced profile capabilities has been improved with the update.
